Man that Brathwaite is an ordinary batsman at this stage in his career. 6 ducks from 9 Tests is pathetic for an opening bat and he's had three in a row now.

I went to sleep at lunch, quite pleased to see the scorecard, but of course Chanderpaul had to be not out.

So who is more disapointed about that hundred

Sammy
Nevill
Haddin
or WindiesWeathers
I think Sammy, without question.

As a parent, I can safely say that Haddin wouldn't give a flying **** about it right now.

WW doesn't count, as he's banned.

Was pretty damn impressed with that Wade innings. Looked so much better than what I'd seen of him before, and actually looked technically really pretty good. I'm not sure if Spikey was joking before when he said it, but would it be the worst idea to potentially try Wade out as a batsman alone at some point if the options run out?

Half joke. I think he could probably it, and I heard at one stage either Tassie or Vic pushed for him to do it (may or may not be true). But it was kinda a reference to how he's one of very few sub 28yos who has actually had more than one good season with the bat in the shield. Like, "well if we're gonna pick (x) after one good season with the bat why not (y)", But it was also a reference to the hugely flawed "Tim Paine is good enough to play as a batsman only!!!!" many ****s like to say

I have a question. What's up with Wade's statistics? First I pointed out that he was the 14th highest rated batsman of all time on the ICC ratings, and now I find out thanks to Wikipedia that he stands 217 centimetres tall and averages 88.57 with over 20,000 runs in test cricket. Something's going wrong!
