Well, one of his favourites then, perhaps.

In 2010, Spanish superstar Xavi revealed that Le Tissier had been one of his childhood inspirations, claiming that: "His talent was simply out of the norm. He could simply dribble past seven or eight players but without speed - he just walked past them. For me he was sensational".

Sounds more like McManaman. He hated running when he was dribbling the ball for some reason.

..... and the mighty Royals are back in the big time - what an incredible run
Looks like Southamptom going up with you which is good to see, both because Southampton in the top flight just feels right for someone my age and that West Ham are hopefully subjected to play off humiliation, preferably to Blackpool.

Well, at least that will keep things interesting. Hope Chelsea can keep this competitive until the second leg so that they rest all their players at the weekend.

Pretty much like any other Barcelona away game then.

And Drogba scores in one of the 3 minutes of the match he's spent in a vertical position.
Complete **** but the only guy in blue who'd get a game for Barca

Rest have been pretty hopeless

Oh dear. What a miss at the end. Well done Chelsea, now shut up shop at the Nou Camp and get done by Bayern in the final please.

Hopefully that'll be enough to grant my wish of an under-strength Chelsea at the weekend. Now hope they get thrashed in the second leg.

Drogba wouldn't get a game for Barca. Cole, Terry and Cech probably would though.
Drogba is easily Chelsea's best player and has been for years

No way that Terry would get a game for Barca - slow, unskilled log would simply stifle their play and leak chances

Cole might be on the bench

Cech used to be good and really shouldnt get a game but Barca has carried a fairly ordinary keeper for year so maybe

Anyway, congrats to Chelsea as they achieved what they set out to do - sit back and hope to steal one
