Ha, Cook buggers it up in the 90's for the 2nd time this winter. Still have taken this position before the match though. Look good for a 100 run lead I would imagine even with KP and Bell out of form. Can't lose Trott before lunch though.

Well 239-2 at lunch and a few months ago everyone would have said 500 nailed on here but after the last few months of crap batting you just expect a collapse to happen at some point even against this attack. Should have a lead by drinks and just need to carry on as they are, plenty of time to win the game from here and a big lead looks on the cards. Be good to see KP play some shots after lunch and keep us all entertained while Trott just goes on and on.

They've done this twice now; win a Test emphatically only to be humiliated the very next game.

For all his faults and failures under pressure this winter, you wouldn't wish for a batsman better situated to this situation. The rate at which he scores from here could decide whether Englan win this game.

Brilliant little counter attack by KP. Just hope he doesn't give it away now as a ton is there for the taking for him. Got to be looking at 500 now and a chance for Swann to win the game by an innings.

Funny old game, 3 days ago Strauss was under pressure, one good performance (should we finish it off) and we stay number 1 with a series at home to WI to come who we should beat comfortably in our own conditions. Crisis, what crisis? Just wait till we lose in India.:p
