***Official*** England in Sri Lanka 2012

Galle will be reported again. Unless Chandimal, PJ and Randiv digs deep and bats for two sessions and then England for three, Galle might get banned by the ****tards of ICC.

There's just no point saying 'everyone's crap and we should drop them all'. Most of these players are really good batsmen, it's over-reacting to slam them after quite a small number of matches. I mean really, are we seriously suggesting dropping KP for Bopara and Bell for James Taylor?

Drop KP for Bopara? I must have missed that gem.
I'm just filling in Bopara... anyone really.

I'm not really a KP fan at all, but I don't think there's anyone better.

Anyhow... it's Strauss under the most pressure now. That's our really big problem, and I have nfi what we're going to do about it.

Walked downstairs in office to watch just in time to see Samaraweera go. Perhaps this cricket thing is not for you and me. We should restrict ourselves to just watching the highlights.
This ain't the highlights then?

The great thing about Test Cricket is that each team gets 2 chances; lets see England perform in the second dig before calling out for mass changes.

I seem to remember Australia vs Sri Lanka (not this last tour, the one before) where Oz were behind SL after the first innings was completed in all 3 matches, yet we won the series 3 - 0.

Yet whenever questioned you decline to name them, just revert to type and post **** about the incumbents.
I have named them - and for my trouble was accused by one of your fellow pollyannaists of cribbing names of county batsmen I knew nothing about from the brilliant minds who post here!

It's a natural human tendency to look for change after failures. We never accept that our best XI failed, but that was our best XI. That was what our best XI could do. They only could do that much.

Most of the cricket fans are no exceptions.

Going to be really hard to get to a decent score without Samaraweera. Bad wicket to lose so close to the end of the day's play.
Judging by everything we've seen since the turn of the year, you're safe enough - might as well declare now. This lot haven't shown the slightest inclination in their last 3 and a half tests to make a decent stab of the 4th innings here. Mentally shot & technically ****e really isn't the most helpful of combinations.

Well in that case you won't mind posting them again.

I know it's a cliche, but that was an ATG team at arguably its peak.

Yeah we were a bit awesome weren't we. :D

Still, England are the number one ranked team in the world, so if they bowl SL out for say 150, England would surely fancy their chances of making 275 to win the match.
