It won't be such good business if the Barmies (and supporters of other teams, seeing what's happened there) decide to give Sri Lanka a miss in future.

Meh thats just good business.

Edit: Did not read the previous posts before reading this post. But yeah I don't see why people from a developed nation would whine about having to pay a few euros more in the single digits. The way I see it is the rich people being taxed more in some countries.
It's not a few more though. It's 10 times the amount, which over 5 days cricket, can suddenly become extremely expensive. Also you're just assuming that all the English fans are well off, there may be several that aren't. They may have viewed this as a cheap holiday where they could watch cricket at a cheap price. That's no the case anymore, but it's too late for them to change their plans.

whats obviously annoying and out of order is the lateness of the decision on ticket prices. If they want to sell all tickets at expensive prices thats OK as long as they announce this in good time. But deciding a few days before the test starts after they realise upto 10000 brits are making the trip is pretty low.

Jimmeh!

Early wickets crucial. Will back us against this middle order with the new pill, not so much late in the day.

Damn, I missed the first 4 overs, anything happen? LOL.

Just saw the wickets now, it looks like Thirimanne and Sangakkara were still a little in ODI mode, needing to feel ball onto bat. I must admit when I saw that Dilshan made 11 from 8 he would have gotten out to a rash shot; but nah that was a very nice delivery from Broad.

Anyone defending charging foreigners higher prices than locals has lost the plot.

That is absolutely discrimination, and there is no way of going around that. And it is not similar to taxing people on higher incomes, because this is assuming all foreigners are on far higher incomes.

Yo, Sri Lankan Cricket Board, learn to handle your own finances you pricks and don't try and subsidise your lack of bookkeeping skills with the money of foreigners.
