I don't know whether to be disappointed that we didn't make the final or to be relieved that we weren't the only team to lose to Bangladesh (I'd say 'no offence', but I'd be lying. Can't wait for global warming to drown you guys out ).
If that were to happen, you guys would be getting a massive increase in population from the east.

"Just about" winning still means they won their matches. No tournament is awarded to a team based on style points. If a team won the same number of matches as you AND beats you head-to-head, they deserve to advance. Seems very fair to me. I guess we just have a very different viewpoint on this.
It's not about "style" though. If your hammering most of the teams in the competition then that means your playing a higher level of Cricket overall, which is indicated by your NRR being higher.

Even if were to go by the head to head, then tell me why do we have a bonus point on offer? A bonus point is essentially a different way of saying "increase your NRR". Even if a bonus point didn't' exist in this tourney Pak would still most likely have gone through because they beat SL much more convincingly than than the other two teams and there NRR is the highest in this tourney, bonus point or not it's higher.

I know this probably sounds whining cuz India didn't make it lol. But trust me, if I was an SL supporter in the CB series and was told we had to beat Australia to qualify I would have been pretty pissed. Because it was blatantly obvious that SL played better cricket than India in the tournament.

All bull**** aside, I am glad, and mighty glad at that, that we didn't go all the way. After the shambles that the last year has been, and knowing the general Indian psyche, a victory here would've done more harm than good. I know I'm giving our setup too much credit, and this early exit probably won't change a thing. Still, let them ruminate some more over their failings.

Wonder where the guys who were putting down Bangladesh are? If they had held their nerves against Pakistan, they would be top of the table. Hope they go on and win the whole thing.

Nice try. You are bruised from inside, and we all know it :p

Tendulkar scores a century => India loses match
Kholi scores century => India lose the tourney.

:P

PS: Well done BD.

Seriously, Bangaz has been the best team in the tourney. Congrats to them!

Glad to see how Nasir and Marmadoola finished it off.

I like the head-to-head tie breaker. It's a standard in pretty much all American sports. Why do you guys think it's unfair?
Looks to me like it's because India have been knocked out. Nobody was moaning about H2H being the separator before the Tournament started.
