I knew I got 0. I found this really really tough.

@ Howe, I just had a wild guess with the wickets, since I couldn't answer the other questions. :(

Should have really got the 175 one but that is about it, was not a million miles away with John Snow on the ODI question.

Whatever it takes!!!
I was sure about that Wisden awards guy.. Read it on cricinfo long back that he won it as a school boy and never actually knew it and picked it up till he was like in this 90s. Serves me right to not have remembered the simple thing about him never having played FC cricket...

No-one got the Cheema one correct, which I thought was weird because people kept talking about his record during the Pakistan-England series in January. It's his record by a sizeable margin too, six matches with the next best only two or three.
Damnit - remembered it was a current player who is a **** pace bowler, but picked the wrong one.

Out of interest were there any questions that only one person got right?

You're not the only one that thought that. I'm smarter at cricket trivia than people think. I do read a **** load about cricket.
Morgie's surprised me on occasion with his knowledge of Indian domestic cricket, so I believe he really does have an impressive knowledge of cricket trivia.

Round 1 had some great questions.

Regarding the 0/4 question, I remember Sunil Gavaskar sharing one conversation with Trueman. When Gavaskar first met Fred Trueman he told him that Madhav Mantri was his uncle. He asked Trueman if he remembered Mantri, and reminded him that he was one of his 4 scalps when Trueman famously reduced India to 0/4. Trueman gave a sarcastic smile and asked Gavaskar 'Do you think I would remember him then, eh?'

Nope.

The least right answers after the Cheema question were the Bevan and CFS ones, which only two people got.

Checking current scorecards =! knowing about the history of the game.
