Have seen a number of newspaper articles the last few days which have alluded to it. Granted these need to be taken with a pinch of salt etc... but no smoke without fire and all that.

He has always hated it away from Colonge apparently so would be a risk, positive sign for Arsenal fans though I would reckon.

So outside the Prem sides are finding it tough. pompey might not last the season, Coventry and Birmingham have transfer embargos and Port Fail look like going into administration. Wonder how many more clubs are going to struggle in the next few months, seems the authorities are finally clamping down on clubs. Rightly so.

Blackpool being shown on Fox Sports here this morning. Boom!

Reckon Arsenal will get up tonight. Power to them, am personally content with a trophy and Europa.

Sounds like Podolski will be perfect then. A wantaway mercenary who only shows up occasionally giving the fans plenty to whinge about. Might keep the CDMs supporters distracted for a few months whilst their trophy-less run continues.

How does spending the best years of your career off the back of strong performances in the Euros/World Cup with Koln denote a mercenary?
He has played for two clubs, one that he loves regardless of them being perpetually poo and the other the best club side in Germany who didn't take no for an answer. I don't particularly rate him but they must be something about him when he can get a gig in a German side which has so many quality attacking options it's scary.

Glad I'm not watching in that case - no prizes for guessing where his compo from Rupert Murdoch will end up

He would be over here in the capacity of a mercenary if he played for the CDMs.

Haha, justice at Anfield! Suarez, jesus christ. Can't wait to see Liverpool fans defending him on other sites after this game.

I'd rather like Liverpool to win, but I don't mind laughing at Dirk Krap failing at the one thing he's any good at - taking penalties.
