Not sure if serious....This thread needs more TH.
Was serious. Threads/matches aren't the same without a TH rage. Not sure if serious....
CD go through to the final because they finished top of the table.Yeah Auckland v CD was on Sky.
But it's been abandoned now because of the rain. So what happens now in terms of who gets to the final? Reserve day?
tbf did anyone actually swing the ball today? Even the likes of Mason, Small and Martin were barely able to find any movement in the air. Maybe the temperature played a part because I doubt it was the warmest day ever done there. Either way though McClenaghan still looked impressive as you said, was absolutely gutted that the weather went south because that was actually fun to watch, was all over the batsmen during that short period and would've loved to have seen more.Very impressed. Bowls quick, hits a good line and length and has a nice bouncer. Heard he has been swinging it a lot recently so was surprised not to see him move it through the air.
Would've loved to have seen Neesham play against Zimbabwe personally, in either the 20/20's or ODI's, just to give him a taste. He's a lot more talented with the bat than either Ellis or de Grandhomme IMO and he's got a lot more about his bowling then either of them too (even if Ellis is slightly more effective at this stage of his career) However I would much prefer to see him, along with Tom Latham to be playing as much first class cricket as possible at this stage of their career, would probably be more beneficial to both of them at this stage rather then playing one or two games and sitting on the bench for two weeks.Great to see Neesham's massive contribution to Otago's win. Having a dream season so far.
A lot more talented than de Grandhomme? You're having a laugh now. I know you don't rate him but that's blatantly wrong.
By the looks of it Neesham used to post on here, and so you've got an affinity with him. And that's great. But I'm pretty sure even he would say he's nowhere near ready for international cricket.
