That's that! Very impressive by England. Or should we say, this is another typical Pakistan variety between being brilliant and being dreadful?

Question: why did Swann only get 1 over?

When people talk about "he bowled better than his figures suggest", it's usually when the bowler comes away with maybe one wicket. Except with Broad, when it's the days he comes away with four or five.

Hard to imagine his already ridiculously good figures of 2011 would've been even better if not for some poor fielding

full credit to England though coming out all guns blazing in a dead rubber match.....

takes a lot of motivation to do that

Yeah Lord's was especially ridiculous for this. Got 7 in the match IIRC, but should have had about 11.

Wow! What happened here?

Stupid batting or did the pitch do something for the seamers? Don't get why they would prepare a seamer friendly track in the first place.

Fantastic bowling, they've been bang on the money all series. If only our batsmen had played as well as them throughout the tour...

Whether we deserve to be number 1 or not, our bowling attack certainly does.

Broad's improvement since the SL series has been unbelievable. He's gone from 36.25 per wicket before to 30.80 now. Shaved basically 5.5 runs off his average in seven tests. Well, six and a half.

A little but not much. Top quality bowling for the most part.

Only just looked at the teams. How's Eoin Morgan not get dropped? No backup batsmen over there?
I think they're giving Morgan one more chance, if he fails, they'll probably put a new encumbent at the start of the next series, and give them the whole series.

I do think there's a genuine possibility, though, that they may just swap Morgan for Bresnan.

Pakistan should be happy they got lucky in the second test.

Rubbish selection once again. Umar Gul
