Sehwag likely to be the next test captain

Give the captaincy to Kohli once Dravid, Tendulkar and Sehwag leave.

Is it really true that if Tendulkar tells the bowlers something then they have to do it despite the bowling coach saying something different?

I can't see any way that would be true.

I can see it happening. He's the wise old man of the team. If he walks up to the bowler and makes a suggestion, the young bowler feels obligated out of deference to follow through. Happens all the time in all levels of cricket.

That's possible, but Tendulkar would be aware of the bowling plans and as if he would tell the bowler to do something that is inconsistent with those plans.

He used to be bit of an annoying git around bowlers when he was captain. Always flitting around their ears, never letting the poor bastards relax.

Yes, give it to Kohli. Would be so awesome.

So good that 2 tests ago people were wanting him to be dropped and now he's been put up for captaincy. Obviously that says a lot about how **** India is atm, but also says a lot about how Kohli has turned it around.

WAFG. Makes everyone hate him but still put forward as captain.

Yep. Tendulkar also told Ishant to bowl short so he can't get any wickets, and told Viru to not put in any slips. Also told Dravid to miss straight balls.

People are also suggesting Gambhir, so...
Get your point, but no real reason to think Gambhir would be a bad captain imo, even with his batting struggles. I'd actually rather give it to him than Kohli who is too young obviously, but my point still stands. It shows just how much Kohli has turned it around.

Haha fair enough.

Gambhir isn't even on the same planet of doucheness as my boy Kohli though.

Gambhir's just an angry dude who can't bat very well, Kohli's a pretty boy crybaby.

Australia started the trend with Ponting tbf.
So, Ponting is the first Aussie captain who was a douche you think? He merely followed the path laid down by the Chappell brothers and Mr. Allan Border...
