In other news, Athlai is racing to the pub. I am on wickets texting duty.

Tempted to text him telling him Zimbabwe are all out before he gets there. Thoughts?

There's a fantastic winery on top of the hill in town. Not my favourite wines of that region but lovely restaurant and beautiful main house up there. And there's all that art deco architecture in the city.

Cape Kidnappers the most spectacular golf course I've ever player ftr.
Always thought NZ should build some 500,000 person city around there, seeing as unlike Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch it has nice weather, and is not geographically constrained like Auckland and Wellington. I would live there.

Might ruin the 'ambience' of your winery though

I've not been to another wine growing region which has vineyards in centre of town. It really is a beautiful place.

There is no point in not enforcing the follow on here - bowlers do not need a rest and we don't need to set 700 to win.

Chance for Southee to improve that average

Definitely an interesting phenomenon in cricket, the loud noise as the ball passes the bat even though nothing has hit anything. What's the main source of said noise iyo?
