And no one really noticed. I was a bit disappointed to see that they didn't get the ovations because **** me they deserve them. Laxman especially in this country.
They said on the radio they both got fine ovations, Laxman especially.

Reminds of the wonderful ovations the Indian crowd gave No One when he played his last test over there

Here's a tip if you're an international umpire and you think a bloke gets close to the front line on delivery...watch the ****ing front foot. That wasn't even close. Again.

I don't care about the no balls anymore. The boys know they will look every time, so they aint gonna overstep anymore. It's a given that its not a no ball. I will literally burn $100 next time I see us take a wicket from a no ball.

You've been warned about this a number of times. There's no need for these digs. Cut them out thanks.

It seems strange that all of a sudden we're checking them all the time. Fair enough if you thought it was close. But when you're checking deliveries where the bowler had half his foot behind the line it suggests you've stopped looking at the front foot altogether.

There has clearly been some sort of instruction given to the umpires about the no-balls. Who gave it to them and why is a bit more mysterious.

I love how well Siddle is getting movement of lifeless pitches these days. Who'd of thought it a few months ago?

It used to happen quite a bit. Can recall Lee getting a few off no balls that were called, and a few which weren't as well.

For sure. Was a rare event though, now that they are checking every single one I'll bet your left one that they are damn sure not to overstep.
