Nah don't consider that a good spinners wicket at all, especially to a guy like Laxman. Hit with the spin and hit it very well, was just careless with giving it air, didn't beat him in flight or spin. More good captaincy than particularly good bowling.
I dont think Clarke overestimated Indias batting, quite the opposite he didnt think they were good enough to last five sessions so he gave his bowlers more time to rest.

He stayed straight enough so that he couldn't be taken through covers, and Laxman was frustrated at having to notch the ball behind square for one, which seemed to be the best result he could get when Lyon got too straight.
