wtf, that was clearly out. Outrageous. If the stumps are all bent over that means the bails are dislodged, people.
Na mate the two frames we had were the bat was behind the line and the bails hadn't moved, and then the bat was an inch over the line and the stumps were bent. You can't give that out and it actually seemed likely he would have made the ground if we had a better camera on it.

There was an even worse run out not given last night in Pak-Eng. Definitely thought that one was out.

The first of the two frames Taibu has clearly hit the stumps, the stumps and bails have all moved and Watling is short. Just because the image is a bit blurry doesn't mean you should ignore the obvious. A clearer front-on image would obviously have shown that the bails don't magically adhere to the stumps while the stumps move.

Watched it repeatedly in HD via MySky btw

On the other hand I don't get how Vettori was given out, it appeared that when the bails were dislodged his foot was right at the back of the line, surely too close to call? Didn't get as many views of that one though. In this case Watling was deadset 6 inches short and we just didn't have the right frame (well, we did imo, but umpires apparently need to see bails a foot from the stumps before they consider them dislodged).

On the line = out. It was pretty clear at the time.

and nah, Watling was home.

Great for Watling to get a hundred - justifies his place in the side and will hopefully give him a bit more confidence. Real test will come later against SA, though don't want to downplay this innings - Watling didn't exactly look great against this same Zim team a few months ago

Like the new ball pairing of Boult and Martin. Assuming Wagner comes in for Martin after he retires, we'll be quite well balanced with two older ball bowlers (Wagner and Bracewell) and two newer ball bowlers (Boult and Southee)
