Yea wouldn't want them to work up a sweat playing international cricket for your country.

What the **** are they doing? 22/1 off the last 10 overs? They should have been well over 500 ahead at lunch and declaring. If India can score 500+ off 151 overs then good luck to them.
Winning.

Great run out by The Hilf. I can't think of too many other specialist fielders in the other team that would pull that run out off...maybe Kohli. Speaking of Kohli, at least the run-out ensured he didn't hang around long enough to become emotionally scarred by the sledging.

Looking forward to watching the end tomorrow.
Raina probably could have if he was playing - he's a seriously good fielder.

No-one could have probably done it. It's an insanely hard run-out. I'm pretty confident Ponting at his peak could have only done it about 2 times out of 100 let alone anyone else.

anyone is capable.

I just don't think anyone is capable of doing it with regularity.

By "capable" I meant you'd have given them a good chance. Probably not Clarke in that particular situation because of the angles and being LHed though, would have been impossible to turn and throw in time,

I doubt ponting or any of the legendary fielders of our time would have been able to get that run out. The thing about the runout was how fast the throw was, that ball left his hand very quickly. throwing out of balance is very stressful on the body, you need to immensely strong to pull off a throw like that. I highly doubt any of the names mentioned earlier have that kind of strength.

Symonds definitely had the strength.

And I'm sure you can find Ponting pulling off fairly similar run outs at times too.

Clarke is a different case, has/had a really whippy throw (especially early on in his career, not the strongest bloke but **** me he had a rocket arm once upon a time) so less reliant on sheer strength to do that kind of thing.

So excited for Lyon. Playing first class cricket for one year and to have the wickets of Sehwag, Tendulkar and Laxman in one innings. Doesn't get much better than that.

The Tendulkar wicket was good, the other two were just wickets he didn't have much influence over. Definitely confidence building.

The confidence he would have had at the end of the day with 9 fielders around the bat would have been enormous.
