It is harsh. However, the point I was making was the selection of three greehorns in the 'engine room'. One yes, two dubious, but three out of three is just not good policy.Bit harsh comparing guys in their first couple of tests with about 35,000 test runs.
I agree about the chances of guys with poor fc records miraculously become top test batsmen - I just don't happen that way, but Cowan does look like he might become a reasonably dependable (around 40 ave) player. He also looks a good fit to work with Warner who I do believe will be seriously good over a long time. Marsh obviously I've never rated so seeing him go will help us but if Khawaja doesn't step up next time he gets a chance the options after him are very thin on the ground.
As I said yesterday, the only thing he's done by batting again and not enforcing the follow on, is to open up the chance of the draw."Heyyyy Pup, have you seen this?"

I dont mind freshly laid eggs but would never eat freshly hatched eggs because they would have beaks, eyeballs and feet. But each to his own.People with hens.
They are more difficult to crack, they kinda just crumble, but once you're past that they taste so much better.
Freshly hatched-eggs for me any day.

That's fertilised, not freshly hatched, and those features don't develop until later. Nonetheless, Wade could only keep better than Haddsbeen with a beak.I dont mind freshly laid eggs but would never eat freshly hatched eggs because they would have beaks, eyeballs and feet. But each to his own.
