So yeah, Arshavin... who in their right mind would pay decent money for him and pay his wages? Sack him off, AOC and Miyachi both better options.

Hopefully some dumb team in Russia with a dodgy billionaire owner will spend a fortune on him.

Oh dear, oh dear.

Bit hard to stomach that one.

Wenger totally bottled it by taking Chamberlain off imo. Should have been Walcott, think that was obvious to everyone watching.

Don't think there was a lot between the teams, neither looked all that great, just Arsenal's weak links were horribly exposed. The way Nani continually got the better of Djourou should have been obvious before the match.

Time for Walcott to get his arse in gear though, him, Rosicky and Arshavin were totally shown up by a teenager making his first Prem start ffs. Arsenal only looked remotely threatening when he got on the ball, and the Utd defence knew this, could see them backing off as soon as he got the ball.

Missed Arteta a lot, but why why why is Rosicky still being persevered with, he's been ****house for ages. Should have been punted a while back.

Oh, and yeah...I know I bang on about this one. But handing Park his Premiership debut in this of all matches? What the **** is that all about.

That was a sensational round of Prem though. Almost every game was stunning. Some ridiculous goals too.

Dont get why people laying into Arshavin for our winner there. Sure he didn't make the original tackle outside the box, but after that he stayed with his man, and did all he could bar foul him and give away a pen.

Oxlade-Chamberlain looked bloody good though

The way he was suckered first up was pretty hilarious, but yea he did what he could - which isn't saying much. He should have had cover behind him and there was nothing. Mind that seemed to be theme through the game, the CDMs were ripped to pieces down the wings, one bit of movement and pass or one trick and Manure were in behind. Most of the time they simply screwed it up, this time they screwed it up and it broke for them.

Because he is a prick.

Granted he was beat easily by a ball over the top, and turned with ease. Bundles of help from the actual defence though.....

Missed the second game but sounds like most other Arsenal match against a big side in the last few years.

You know him? Or is that based on the fact that he pwned your lot in the UEFA Cup final and turned down a move to Rangers, as Dick Advocaat said he is too good for them.

Not a fan of Arshavin, said when Arsenal bought him he isn't anything that special but there are worse players at Arsenal than he. At least he is a footballer, Walcott can't even cross a ball.

Welbeck worth 60k a week now?

So, so, so, so nervous for our games against the Manchesters. Looking forward to QPR vs Chelsea too.

You have to wonder what impact a full home stadium of his own fans booing his name on his introduction had on his performance. It can't possibly have helped. But it seems that a lot of fans don't seem that bothered about reducing their team's chances of getting something from a massive game that's tied going into the last ten minutes.

The momentum at that moment was with Arsenal. The substitution - and the crowd's reaction to it - sucked all the momentum out of Arsenal.

Many fans feel they could do better than their managers because they took their club to champions of Europe in Football Manager.

Tbf I don't think the crowd would have booed had he come on for walcott

Just realised that the Liverpool/City game is on Australia Day, so I can sleep in afterwards!

Or mourn.

Yeah, my impression was that the boos were aimed at Wenger/the substitution rather than Arshavin himself. Though doubtless it wouldn't have done Arshavin's morale a great deal of good I suspect. You would have hoped that if anything it would have fired him up a bit, but alas.

Van Persie's reaction to it said it all tbh. You could see he knew that the only players the Utd defence were slightly worried about were him and Chamberlain.
