Hopefully some dumb team in Russia with a dodgy billionaire owner will spend a fortune on him.So yeah, Arshavin... who in their right mind would pay decent money for him and pay his wages? Sack him off, AOC and Miyachi both better options.
The way he was suckered first up was pretty hilarious, but yea he did what he could - which isn't saying much. He should have had cover behind him and there was nothing. Mind that seemed to be theme through the game, the CDMs were ripped to pieces down the wings, one bit of movement and pass or one trick and Manure were in behind. Most of the time they simply screwed it up, this time they screwed it up and it broke for them.Dont get why people laying into Arshavin for our winner there. Sure he didn't make the original tackle outside the box, but after that he stayed with his man, and did all he could bar foul him and give away a pen.
Because he is a prick.Dont get why people laying into Arshavin for our winner there. Sure he didn't make the original tackle outside the box, but after that he stayed with his man, and did all he could bar foul him and give away a pen.
Oxlade-Chamberlain looked bloody good though
You know him? Or is that based on the fact that he pwned your lot in the UEFA Cup final and turned down a move to Rangers, as Dick Advocaat said he is too good for them.Because he is a prick.
You have to wonder what impact a full home stadium of his own fans booing his name on his introduction had on his performance. It can't possibly have helped. But it seems that a lot of fans don't seem that bothered about reducing their team's chances of getting something from a massive game that's tied going into the last ten minutes.Dont get why people laying into Arshavin for our winner there. The momentum at that moment was with Arsenal. The substitution - and the crowd's reaction to it - sucked all the momentum out of Arsenal. You have to wonder what impact a full home stadium of his own fans booing his name on his introduction had on his performance. Many fans feel they could do better than their managers because they took their club to champions of Europe in Football Manager. But it seems that a lot of fans don't seem that bothered about reducing their team's chances of getting something from a massive game that's tied going into the last ten minutes.
Tbf I don't think the crowd would have booed had he come on for walcottYou have to wonder what impact a full home stadium of his own fans booing his name on his introduction had on his performance. Yeah, my impression was that the boos were aimed at Wenger/the substitution rather than Arshavin himself. Though doubtless it wouldn't have done Arshavin's morale a great deal of good I suspect. You would have hoped that if anything it would have fired him up a bit, but alas.Tbf I don't think the crowd would have booed had he come on for walcott
Van Persie's reaction to it said it all tbh. You could see he knew that the only players the Utd defence were slightly worried about were him and Chamberlain. The momentum at that moment was with Arsenal. The substitution - and the crowd's reaction to it - sucked all the momentum out of Arsenal.
