haha yeah 'faux intensity' perfectly describes it. Actually thought Hewitt was a really good commentator during his brief stint last year. Had some really interesting kind of 'inside' information and was just generally pleasant to listen to.

Haven't been as involved in a tennis match like Tomic's today in a very long time. I, along with a lot of others, really thought he was out of the match at the start of the 3rd set, but Geez! that was a great fightback.

JA outsted the prank Labor member in Bennelong, so can't be that bad.

Used to like Courier, but now ****s me for some reason. He's such a downhill skiier. Praises the best players like they can't possibly do anything wrong, then when they do start going down it's because they're injured etc etc.

Zip it, ****.

Everyone notice that as soon as Nadal had a few injuries and starts to get beaten in a few tourneys he suddenly **** pots Fed in a Spamish speaking interview?

WAC. No wonder Jono loves him. The Kohli of tennis (with ability though).

Wouldn't mind the chair umpire in this match overseeing the change of my balls either ftr.

srsly though, you can see why 'niacki hasn't won a slam. Such a passive player. Will never hold up against the monsters of the tour such as Serena.

Jim Courier annoys me to some degree...think he is completely full of himself, but he does at least provide some interesting insight sometimes. Unlike that John Alexander schmo whose commentary used to consist solely of describing every shot as it is, obvious to all watching.

Btw does anyone go on mens tennis forum? Geez that place looks terrible. Swear to god every post on there is some annoying **** whining about how Olderer, Nadull, Fakervic, Mugray (or some other lame variation of a players name) is a mug or any match between them is a mugfest or tennis was ruined because of that game etc.

Doesn't seem to be any remotely interesting discussion whatsoever, just a bunch of sad sacks fuelling of each others trash-talk.
lol so ****ing true.

I rate Jim Courier.

Na I'm not on it. Barely ever browse through there either because of the reasons I said before...might be only seeing one side of it though.

I know you're being a dick on purpose, but Nadal has been continuously requesting a change to the schedule and ranking system for years and years. He has constantly suggested alternatives as well, rather than just having a whinge he's given the ATP options.

He is Vice President of the ATP’s Player Council and Federer is President. They recently had a player's meeting. Clearly for Nadal to come out he must have been frustrated at Federer not leading from the front like the other players want.

However before I blindly support Nadal in what he said, if he actually doesn't have the support of the majority of players, and particularly Nole and Murray, like he claims, then he was totally out of line in saying what he said.

But if he actually has the support of the majority (or super majority as he described it  ) of the men's tour, and Federer isn't listening to everyone else, then Fed isn't doing his job as President of the ATP’s Player Council
