ICC Combined Associate and Affiliate (AM) XI v England. January 7-9, 2012

International Regular
I reckon he'll average about that or above. Depends how Pakistan bat though; I didn't necessarily mean figures; I just reckon he won't bowl as well as people are predicting. It was only one series ago people were calling for his head and while he bowled very well against India, he's done that sort of thing before and still returned to mediocrity afterwards. I'm just not that convinced yet, tbh.
But before, his breathtaking performances were confined to single matches, single innings if you like.

India was a turning point.

Davies' average back over 40! :D

As for Broad, I was one of his biggest critics but have a gut inkling he'll do alright. As people have mentioned the way he impressed in the West Indies series a few years back on some of the flattest decks known to man should hopefully see him go alright here. Coming into the series in ****-hot form too by the looks of it.

Will freely admit to Broad and especially Bresnan derision.

Always loved Jimmy but would never have claim to have always had faith.

Always rated Tremlett though and not entirely for parochial reasons, he did look shot before his Surrey move though.
