Only Morgan's dismissal can really be put down to a nice piece of bowling this afternoon. Bell's was a horrendously limp poke from circa 2005.

Ah, man. Cook appears to have departed now. What's the three-day follow-on target? If it's one hundred we might be screwed.

Yes, as I understand it, we'll need 182. Which might be a squeeze.

Should knock any complacency out the system, anyway...

I suppose it might make sure there's no complacency before the first test starts. Still horrible though.

Given that I don't rate Morgan at all as a test batsman, I'm actually happy enough to see him fail in this series and move him out before the summer.

EDIT
Pickup beat me to it.

Really looking forward to what the English players have to say about their opposition after the match. Could hopefully be looking at an event that becomes a regular fixture.

Could so easily see Broad scoring one of his "what the **** are the rest of you doing?" knocks and digging England out.

Seems like he agrees.

EDIT: Might run out of partners though. 7/159... dear me.

Pretty dire Broad's 19* is already the second highest score of the innings.

Seeing a much vaunted batting order collapse; wow this must be what being an Indian fan feels like.

Oooops

Lets hope this is rustiness and can be sorted in the next week or so. Not seen a ball so can't comment other than that.

England should lose their number 1 status for this...and for no logical reason whatsoever Australia should take it.
