Ha, believed it was a very long shot. Good for him, but he still needs to prove it's a return to form, not a once in a blue moon score. The build up to it over a few tests hopefully indicate it's the former.

This has been a great display from these two. Really ground India into the Bulli soil wonderfully.

India's problem really is that Zaheer is so far ahead of their next best it just isn't funny.

Yeah this is basically the last chance Ponting will have. He has to use this innings now as an impetus to return to better form on a more permanent basis. He couldn't do it after his double against Pak, so only time will tell if he can now...Think they'll be a pretty good idea of where he stands once this series is finished.
