Gotta be trollin
No, I didn't say it was a bad match, obviously it was far from that. What I mean though is that just because the match is extremely close doesn't neccesarily make ita great game from the standard point of view.

Anyway, congrats NZ, bowled very well

More chance of Danza Hyatt scoring an international 50 than the Windies winning a test match against Aus tbf.
If NZ can win one on Australian soil, then we can win a SERIES at home, let alone a "test match" .

Won't be long now so lets wait and see!! .

Agreed, bar Waner the batting was diabolical from both sides to be honest, Aus was making the NZ attack look like Steyn and co!!!.

Less wickets given away in this match than at Brisbane. I, for one, was glad to see a game where the bowlers were on top for a change. Warner played a great counter-attacking knock by the sounds of things and there was some spicy bowling. Much better fielding too. I think you're a batting addict.

Unbelievable. Go into a meeting for an hour and this happens FMD.

Also congrats to the Kiwis. Well played.

One last thing, and the most important.

I was wrong.

Chris Martin, you bowled like a champ. Have a good summer mate.
Yep, and I have to admit was wrong to bag Southee earlier today - bowled very well after lunch.

Four pacemen was the winning of this match. Always an option for Taylor, always at least one who is feeling good and bowling well. And on this wicket they were all able to attack.

Hate all this "great cricket match". Yes, there was drama, but the standard of cricket was poor imo.
There's more to the game than batting. Sure it was a helpful pitch, but the kiwi bowler's were superb in making the most of it. Siddle and Pattinson at times were also great. Catching generally was very good also.

And then on the batting side Warner's knock was top shelf, and Taylor and Brownlie also played very good innings in the conditions.

It wasn't all bad batting...

Surprised less people are advocating dropping Hussey. This is his 2nd series in a row where he's done NOTHING. At least the others have done something.

I'd drop Ponting, Hughes, Haddin and Khawaja personally.
tbf he was our best in the two series before that by some margin. Deserves to be safe for now, but if he does nothing against the Indians then his spot to the Windies should be under severe pressure.

Congrats to NZ by the way

A mighty effort to climb off the canvas after an insipid display one week earlier
