LolAnd frankly the kids don't have the attention span for his dot balls
Everytime Starc came on to bowl I felt a lot more confident. What do people make of Mitch Starc in this series?
Serviceable, I guess.
I think I'd rather Hazlewood though.
Pinga. It's a bad record, no doubt. But would Nicol/Watling/How do any better? Don't say Pinga.
Yeah Warner's been killing it for Easts for ages now.dear tubby,
warner is in the top 10 for runs scored in grade in the past 10 years
ty.
Dunno about Southee being ahead of Bracewell tbh, he hasn't done much in a good while.Isn't threatening enough with the ball, isn't good enough with the bat. Plenty of potential in him but if we have to shove someone, it should be him.
Boult and Southee offer more with the ball and Martin isn't going till he retires.
the real reason he didn't get games is this little thing called selection pressure. nothing more, nothing less.Yeah Warner's been killing it for Easts for ages now.
Even in this series Southee has looked more threatening than Bracewell throughout. Bracewell bowled one dangerous looking spell and looks village at other times. Southee hasn't blown the world away like we all hoped he would but I definitely think he should be retained on what he offers ahead of Bracewell.Dunno about Southee being ahead of Bracewell tbh, he hasn't done much in a good while.
Ryder, anyone?Clearly dropping Guptill is only an option if we were to go four seamers. Young and Bracewell's failures with the bat make that very unlikely so I guess it will be one of Bracewell/Southee/Boult that makes way. Southee's been the worst this series but 'experience' may save him.
