Since public opinion seems to be going against Youngeh, I wonder who our next keeper in line is if Young was dropped/injured?
It'd be Derek de Boorder. Very, very competent gloveman and a batsman who'd sell his wicket dearly.

Plus, also a former Howick Pak player.

There's no way in hell we're winning this. Even if their middle order falls over, we still have to get past the number eight. Siddle to join the legion of **** **** number eights who won't go away.

That was a terrible shot from Khawaja, could barely reach it! Great focus from Taylor to hold onto that.

Phil Hughes: the strongest case yet for a pension clause in CA contracts.

Average since being un-dropped against England at Perth: 24.05.
Mitchell Johnson's batting average from the same date: 19.76.

Time to jump off the kid's wang, Clarkey.

Ponting to score an easy fifty, all the people at the ground to applaud and a few tears and other fluids to be spilled by the sycophantic commentators

Not trying to jinx him in anyway, but I can see a positive Ponting ending up not out with an attacking 60-ish to his name.

Wouldn't be suprised tbh. It's pretty much how Ponting seems to play these days, mainly cashes in when the pressure is off.
