How good would Bradman have been at ODIs?

Roughly Bradman's S/R in tests was around 58 .....

Someone has suggested a non-Indian player would have been a great ODI player.

Strike rates have changed substantially over the years, the game becoming increasingly fast. If Bradman's SR was around 60 it would likely be much like his batting average - at least double his peers.

I wrote an article discussing this topic for my ODI cricket simulator, which includes Bradman. It's here.

If you don't want to read it, I estimated that his SR would be about 107 and his average just under 80.

bradman is clearly just a social experiment designed to see whether people believe in things that are borderline impossible (4.4 SDs above the mean lets be real here) if they are reinforced through the media and their peers.

I think that he would have hated playing a game where he could only bat for 50 overs.

I feel as though he would have averaged a lot more with a lower strike rate if he played ODIs in the 80s - if he was playing in this era I don't think his shorter format performances would be that significant compared to his peers, nor his Test exploits.

And that was the reason why the most of the bowlers of that era and the eras before it had a great average, the number of balls bowled or played weren't recorded properly.
