How good would Bradman have been at ODIs?

Why wouldn't Bradman open ahead of Morris? Surely you give your best and quickest batsman as many overs to bat as possible?

TBF, I'd drop Morris, open with Bradman and slot Macartney in at 3 in that side Monk suggested.

Bradman, Trumper, Macartney, Jackson, Miller, Harvey, Tallon, Lindwall, Davidson, Grimmett, O'Reilly.

Macartney is a must!

Averages in ODIs are a little meaningless tbh
True it, is, but what is more important is SR * Average (SR adjusted to era of course), and that's why Dhoni, Bevan, Viv, Hussey, SRT and Symonds are so far ahead of the rest.
To a point but Kallis played a different role. They get all the credit, but in honesty they're just the ODI equivalent of a striker in football. There job is to bat quickly. Kallis' was to anchor an innings. Both did their jobs admirably, but the one scoring quick runs with fancy shots will always be the ones that get the attention.
