Hauritz has gone power crazy

Or katich

Or moz

Or nev

I hope someone clears up who the captain is.

I guess we can discount Hauritz. He doesn't have the self confidence to open the bowling with himself imo

Meh, I like the tactic, I like it alot.

Manuka is obviously playing slow, just have a look at the one day fixture, and the fact that Doherty bowled almost 40 overs. Making the openers start against a slow bowler on a slow deck is a good tactic.

NEW BALL MUST BE USED BY MEDIUM FAST BOWLERS!!!!!!

ALL GLORY to the HYPNOTOAD!
awta

EDIT: But for serious - imo, it's a gamble to open with a spin bowler, and it hasn't payed off here at all. Almost completely regardless of the wicket, the best time for a paceman to bowl is with the new ball, but spinners can be used (and maybe even excel) with the older one. [/statetheobvious] Now we lose that advantage, and find ourselves with no wickets and 100+ runs down.

I'm not against it very rarely, but it's a risk, and it shouldn't have happened today. I would be fuming if I was Copeland, or even Hazlewood.
