You know, one of the main reasons I've kept my sig for more than a few days is because of this

It actually makes me cringe whenever he gets called "Cummings"; I've not yet heard him referred to as "Cumming" though, so that's clearly a typo. :p

G is a fair way from S on the keyboard :p
I see you're not familiar with my typos. I often type an entirely different word; happens all the time. I never just get one letter wrong. Pretty sure I've made posts about this before, and how annoying it is. :p

Haha yeah I do that heaps too. Usually what happens is my mind has gone out of sync with my fingers and I end up typing a word that was intended later on or even in the next sentence, or I just skip random words entirely

Yeah I'm big on skipping words. Common words seem to get replaced by other common words too because I stop concentrating; "then" becomes "there" or "becomes" becomes "because" etc etc.

Yeah I'm sure you wouldn't have to look hard through my posts to find one where one word just seems completely out of place. Like, "wtf is that doing there?".

Almost did it just now too.

edit: here's one, wasn't hard to find.. Think "Harris" was meant to go about three words along, jumped the gun a bit.

edit2: pewsedit

the worst thing is when you double or even triple check the post and something seems wrong with it but you don't realise until it's too late

There are very few genuine bunnies in world cricket. Those who are, I would say it's a co-ordination thing more than anything. Chris Martin could spend the rest of his life in the nets and wouldn't get much better.
Chris Martin actually has problems seeing the ball.

Not good enough in terms of skill/talent? Or not good enough in terms of mental concentration?
Different for each batsman obviously DOG.

Ryder looked competent at handling 150km deliveries and putting them to the boundary. But just didn't seem to know how to construct an inning. He has done it before but somehow he has forgotten. In the second dig I truly think he thought that it was a lost cause. He figured there was too long to go so he couldn't be bothered trying. That is not the NZ way - John Wright must have been livid in particular.

Brownlie and Vettori looked great.

The rest looked like they weren't technically good enough. I won't`comment on talent. I just think they havn't been exposed to that pace very often so havn't had to develop a pace resistant technique.

As pleased as I am with Brownlie scoring runs and stopping us from losing in 3 days. I am also saddened that he was our best specialist batsman and he didn't learn his game in NZ. What does that say about our system.

I wouldn't mind seeing a change to the batting order for the next game just to send a message and to do something. But I can't really think of a good change except for switching Williamson with someone down the order. He in particular is not good enough for the pearlers that you get at the top of the order.

Finally - regardless of the results in the next game we must stick with the players - they are our best XI - the only change I can see is giving Boult a run instead of young Bracewell.

I don't think it's hand-eye, but just a vision problem. I remember seeing an interview about it a couple of years back.

Nothing glasses will fix, he just can't pick up the ball at all, iirc.
Hmmm, I suppose that could be the extremities of poor hand-eye.

That's one of the worst excuses for being a **** batsman I've ever heard.
Having bad eyesight is one of the worst excuses you've ever heard. Gee, you're a tough task master. I would think not being able to see the ball (when it doesn't have a bell in it) is enough to get a lick of sympathy.

Nasser and Collingwood both had laser eye surgery AFAIK. Not sure how much it helped Nasser, but Collingwood made the England side after.
