I wasn't either - not in the part he bolded, anyway. I was having a go at those who kept calling for him to be called up during the Inidan tour of England, when he hadn't played a game in yonks.

Tbf, i think i started that by suggesting that he would have been a better choice than RP for English conditions.
And i still think he would have offered a way better all round option if needed. He had showed a lot of improvement and signs of getting his in swing back at the end of the IPL(Troubling a lot of batsman) and also done well in some Corporate trophy type matches too by then IIRC.
Obviously, never expected the selectors to pick him and wasn't anything to do with not remembering how **** he became or not. Just was making a punt based on combining conditions with type of bowler, like i did with Praveen a year back when nobody saw him as a test bowler(and some were even doubting ODI credentials) and comparing it with the selection of RP which was pretty dubious itself.

I wish Sree or Mithun don't get selected, its fine if Irfan is ignored, but Mithun or Sreesanth are not the deserving candidates at the moment, Vinay Kumar would also be fine, at least he is a deserving playing and has worked hard in the domestic arena and picked lot of wickets.NO.NO.NO.NO.
Why not Vinay then?

Lets hope Pathan gets selected, Sree isn't even completely fit, there are doubts over his fitness and Mithun is not yet ready to play international cricket which was quite evident in the matches he has played so far, I don't know why the selectors are favouring Mithun so much.
