He is trying to hit them over the ropes. Surely a better chance of getting him caught on the boundary?

As it is he is not wanting to take a single.

Clarke should bring himself on from Siddle's end imo. Hope one of them charges down and plays against the turn to get stumped or bowled.

Nope. Steyn isn't exactly the most consistent hitter in the world. More chance of a wicket by getting him to try hit over the infield, plus every time he gets bat on ball with the field bat he can look to get 2 every time.

Big fan of Clarke's captaincy but this is disappointing.
