Bailey, Cowan and Forest?

I'm more chance of representing Australia.
Some absolute rubbish names in there.

Should be something like:

Warner
Wade
Cosgrove
Smith
Rohrer
Maxwell
O'Keefe
Marsh
Cutting
Copeland
Bollinger (or Hilfenhaus if not fit)

But **** it's hard to find bats worthy of a spot who aren't in their mid 30s. Lots of bowlers worth a look at, (could probably think of another 3 or 4 quicks and the fear is there that Beer will be picked) but bats are thin on the ground. Cosgrove certainly not picked on current form. Spikey's idea of picking both Wade and Nevill isn't so far fetched.

Could you imagine Bollinger, Harris, Watson in the same test side at the moment. FMD we would be left with lyon and johnson bowling all the overs.

I think Lynn probably should get a look in, but geez he's struggled so far this season (injuries accepted). Maddinson is in dire form. Even his 90 against SA was arsey. He needs to be left alone to make runs rather than being seen as the Next Big Thing. Oodles of potential, but not deserving yet. Ferguson, well we've been through that, struggler even if he looks class doing it.

Starc is the best left arm quick named Mitchell in the country, but that's about it. Hazelwood, Butterworth, Swan, and even guys like George and Feldman are all better bowlers.

The fact you'd name Marsh with his sub 20 career average at 7 and Faulkner at 5 just shows the absolute paucity of batting talent around and why Smith for all his faults is still a better bet as a middle order bat than just about anyone else outside of the current squad. I truly hope someone like Cooper can get their **** together and start making regular runs. At the moment Wade is about the best batsman going around, which is a pretty depressing thing to say.

Someone put that into a batting order for me?

No Ferguson!

No O'Keefe will go down well here...

Found it.

Beer is depressing but predictable. Hopefully NZ can smash him around so that his current career trajectory can continue until he reaches his natural level (1st Grade).

Otherwise not that surprised about the amount of utter garbage in the middle order.

Warner
Maddinson
Cowan
Bailey
Cooper
Smith
Wade
Cutting
Pattinson
Hilfenhaus
Beer

Starc

Should be something like the order.

Moz yet again failing to take up the opportunity to prove he's the real deal.

I'd say we're pretty much ****ed here. Piss poor effort to chase what was a very very gettable score. Qld lower order throwing the bat in both innings and some good pace bowling has done us.

CA website.
Very ****ing filthy on Copeland also unless they have already made the call that he plays the first test. Absolute bull**** dragging him around SA to serve drinks and then not even give him a go in this game.

Say they had of dragged Copeland, Warner and Beer back from SA early to play in this game like they're saying they would (if they selected Copes), who will be 12th man for the Australia game and sub field? Genuine question.

Seems they don't want to start fresh on the spin cycle else SOK surely should be ahead of Beer. Other than that a good squad with most of the form players. Starc more potential but his last 2 games have been good.

Yeah I was thinking that too. AB to field at mid wicket.
