From what I've seen his default line is more of an outside off-stump nibbling a bit each way. If he did bowl that way, agree completely, but I don't think he does. Maybe haven't seen as much of him as you have.
You're right in as much as that's how he bowled in SL, and I think that was more of a case of Clarke and co handling him wrong.

Certainly around the grade traps he's known as a guy who will give you no width and will always be attacking the pegs. I think it's just a case of letting Copes choose the field he wants to bowl to, but bearing in mind the strengths and weaknesses of the opposition.

Hmmm, surprised he hasn't been tried then, the Saffers hate that sort of bowling in general. I clearly have not seen enough of him because even in the state games I've watched, he's been in the channel more than anything.
