Is Doug Bracewell not in your squad?

He might've been omitted as he's not playing this week.

Like the Twitter feeds, even if I think they could be a bit more descriptive.

Good to see Kane get some runs against what is, on the face of it at least, a pretty strong Wellington attack.

I know that discussion of domestic performances invariably leads to discussion about the national team but try to keep this thread on topic, guys. Just moved a about 50 posts in a row to the Australia tour thread.

Williamson - what a guy. Brownlie too.

Wagner dismisses Taylor - wonder if that is good or bad for his career... ;)

Canterbury must be thinking of declaring soon - Andy Ellis has just started smacking fours and sixes off the spinners and on track for a century at more than a run a ball.

Is probably a pretty flat pitch so Canterbury will be wanting Astle to spin them to victory on days 4 & 5.

Pleased Williamson's in the runs, am a big fan of his. Thought it was great move on his part, and as a result New Zealand's, for him to play a season in County cricket in England. The different conditions, the amount of cricket, and everything that goes with the pressure of being the overseas player can only help this impressive young man become a better cricketer. Big test for him coming up against Australia.

Yes it's surely done a lot for him. Think he averaged something respectable though not amazing while in the UK, but playing that much cricket can only be good.

BTW Woodster, you can see how Finn has been going for Otago here and here (current match).

Fulton probably thought it was funny... Maybe he holds the current record for fastest Canterbury FC hundred??

WTF, Canterbury declare with Ellis 97*!
Only explanation I can think of is they wanted to bowl before lunch and bringing in a new batsmen would slow down the process. But it's five overs and counting, and no bails off yet.

Ouch. Not like he scored slowly...first Woodcock, now Ellis this season already. A ruthlessness spreading about milestones in NZ circles?

Yes I'm noticing the same thing. Very rough from Fulton though lol. Maybe he's feeling depressed as he hasn't scored a FC century in a long time so he doesn't want to see others scoring tons?
