Come back to county cricket Jacques, we still love you.
He may have no choice.

Seriously though, as I said before I'm a pretty big fan and hope he gets an extended run but he looked gash today and if he bats like that all series it'll probably be his last. I know he can bat much better than that; it's just a matter of actually doing it.

The previous delivery that jammed into the Rudolph family jewels must have had a role to play. He was looking positive and that thing which bowled him didn't do a thing off the seam.

It's not really the dismissal that disappointed me tbh. His footwork looked poor all innings IMO.

I thought it moved back in ever so slightly off the pitch...maybe I was seeing things though.

Just would love to see Amla out before lunch, as I feel oopma Smith can get out at any time. Siddle is going quite well, but would love a bit of Watto now.

The fact copeland wasn't originally in the team is a ****ing disgrace. Harris is a class act, pace, accuracy, can contain & strike. Exactly what you want. Johnson's a ****ing mutt but he's the best Australia have I guess, you need a strike bowler, like, a real one. Siddle then is just some 'strike' bowler who can hold down an end. Ryan Harris, except he can't bat as well, isn't as quick, accurate and doesn't swing it as much. He's just ****. They've got three 'aggressive' bowlers and nobody to contain. That'd be somewhat alright if Lyon wasn't an aggressive spinner, but he is. What'll end up happening is Watson will have to bowl 15 overs a day holding up an end. His batting will falter and then well, you know what'll happen. Cummings is even worse, too aggressive to compliment the attack. Copeland is exactly what was needed, and should be in for Siddle. If not, Johnson. And that's only from the touring party.

tl;dr Siddle is so bad.

like dirk nannes being 16th man during the wc, copes being out there on the field is a massive, annoying tease

Most married blokes still manage to concentrate mate.
  I'd rather field without a box and a helmet at silly mid-off than get married young.

Always been one of those "see ball, hit ball" types, iirc. The commies have hyped him a lot but even in the 2004-2006, swing bowlers like Hoggard, Flintoff and even nondescripts like Sreesanth regularly exposed him.
