Was always on the cards. Don't think Rudolph had taken more than a quarter of a step forward all innings. Pretty disappointing.

I dunno what AB is going on about, the Reindeer did not impress me. Playing across his front pad, walking over to off stump. Pretty loose allround.

Yeah agreed. Bit surprised he got a cap this game, didn't see much of the mooted improvement in his game.

must be hard to concentrate when you've had your balls smashed into your guts the ball before

Yes not decisive feet from Rudolph, great line from Harris, ball did next to nothing.

Now for Amla, hope he bats for a good while.

Missed a straight one, was starting to settle down I thought but was found wanting there, shame I really wanted to see him have a decent innings.

Missed a straight one. But a very good channel. Should be able to nip out one more. The right hander against Harris on this deck with the newish ball would always be a fair candidate.

I too was looking forward to see just how Rudolph's immense FC would translate today.

I can't even remember the words used to describe it, but they were ridix.

If at least one of the balls that beat him didn't hit him between the ribs and the top of the head then you weren't doing your job properly
Of course, man. That's always one of the most important weapons. Seldom do they fend it off straight to hand, but as long as they are hesitant to get behind line the next delivery, it's a good job.
