I have to say Siddle's doing a really good job at showing how to play outswing bowling. Angled bat, soft hands etc.

The part in bold is the problem here. A bit of personal experience too. If you get it right, they're not competent enough to get in line and edge behind. They'll keep on missing it by a fair few inches every time you bowl that dream outswinger. What is good bowling against Ponting may be useless against MacGill, for instance.

Always felt that a quick one nipping back in or a good yorker polishes off the tail much faster.

That's because MacGill is a gun.
