Maybe he's been facing Brett Lee in the nets, and as Lee is bowling faster than ever before and Punter's dealing with him comfortably then he's assuming he's batting as well as ever in the nets?

Haha. To be fair, on the odd occasion Brett has actually bowled in the last couple of years he's been quick and accurate; he's just always injured.

Splendid outswingers are wasted on the tailender. This is one area where, I believe, Steyn misses a trick or two. One nipping back or even angling in should do the job.
