Will lol so hard at Auckland if they lose this.

Surprised Wellington are bowling Woodcock at us so late in the day. They should be coming at Sinclair hard. CD will be content to play him out and feast on Kugglejuggle's mistakes at the other end.

Let Gillespie or Franklin loose. Might concede a few runs, but Wellington need a breakthrough.

Heh, they got a lot closer than I'd thought they would. Eleven wickets in the match for Adams - pretty bloody impressive.

Looks like the other two games will be draw, barring some miraculous batting collapses on the final day.

Wellington are still in the box seat. Get one of these two out and anything can happen on the final day. Gillespie isn't having a great innings so far, but he takes ****loads of wickets when he's on song.

Wellington basically have to bowl CD out before around midway through the second session tomorrow to win.

State Captain
Isn't his country England, now that he's classed as an overseas player here? Or would he still be available..in any case, they won't be going there for right or wrong.
I believe he qualifies as a Kolpak player for English first class cricket due to West Indian fmaily. Means he doesn't count as an overseas player for Notts, although given great performances in the last two seaons he would probably be picked as an import anyway.

If he was to be pursuaded to play for NZ he would lose the Kolpak status.

Jaques Rudolph for an example of a player returning to a national team after having Kolpak status:

Heh, for some reason I had thought CD were already in front. Wellington definitely still a chance for the win.

Murdoch bowling. I have no idea if he's a part timer or not, so is he a genuine option or are Wellington out of ideas or trying to induce the slog?

Haha wow, I wonder what the hell is going on in the Canterbury/Otago game. Cantebury are collapsing in a heap here. 49/7.

52-8 now. And Stewart scored 29 of 'em! Next highest score is a mighty 5.

The funny thing is they still have a chance at winning if they bowl like demons. We can't see the pitch; it could be a minefield on day four for all we know.

But since it's ****erbury I hope it's flat as a pancake.

I'm liking all this rain at Napier. Just need a half hour gap so Skippy can get to fifty then the heavens can open again.

That looks awful for Canterbury. I can believe they might have come out with the intention to throw the bat and maybe set Otago a tricky chase of say 240 from 60 overs... But I can't believe they planned to score a measly 61 runs in 28 overs and be bowled out. That is vomit-worthy. Wonder how Wagner bowled. Otago should win this.
