Well look on the brightside, if Boult does indeed make the test team at least he'll be use to getting stuff all rest between innings :(

Hmmm. I wondered if the Aucks had made a mistake by picking only 2 front-line seamers when ND picked 4 seamers and no regular spin bowler. But seems 2 is more than enough ... :-(

Christ, this game could very well be over by tommorow morning. ND a/o 136, Boult picks up McIntosh first ball.

Read the paper this morning, and according to the reporter Nicol was playing really straight yesterday. Tom Latham said he appears to have improved during his time with New Zealand. Finn bowled quick but far too short apparently, so while he was economical he never threatened to get anyone out.

I'd say that's more of a Test length, not in his interests to adjust to a Rangiora one.

Auckland clearly sick of Whangarei and want to be home tomorrow. Can't be blamed, seeing they've been there since Saturday....oh and it's a ***hole.

Sure, wasn't aware of it. Thought it would be accepted in regards to a description of Whangarei as well.

Nothing wrong with apt descriptions of Whangarei.:p

Auckland have enough here. ND without their Black Caps and Flynn struggle with the bat.

PS calculus is so not my strong suite but apparently Knights got more points than Aces for that innings under complicated new points system

That's in regards to Auckland's first innings alone, I think? Sounds plausible, 258 should be a points decision to the bowling side.
