The only thing stopping me from swapping Rooney for van Persie is the feeling that RvP is due an injury.

Yeah, was talking to an avid Arsenal supporter at work the other day, said they will have a good chance of making the top 4 if they can somehow keep RvP on the park. Though with his record, can't really see it happening.

He was amazing today, would love to see him have an injury free season just to see how much it lifts Arsenal and how good he can actually go.

Could have sworn I made him my captain two weeks ago, turns out I didnt and he scores a hattrick. On that I could have sworn I made him my captain this week, another goal and two assists. Yet again he has the (v)... ffs. At least Silva is my captain, lets hope he doesnt play.

Another 90 minutes for Rooney in midfield today, a little sloppy with the ball at times but he did a great job of helping us kick the Carrick-inspired habit of standing like a bell-end and watching while the opposition's midfield decide what to do with the ball. Was never his biggest fan as a striker but I'm loving him in the middle.
