Siddle to Petersen, no run, huge appeal for lbw, but this time it is not out, appears to have been going down leg.

Siddle to Petersen, no run, excellent delivery, short of a length, gets the extra bounce and beats the outside edge only just. Peteresen aknowledges wih a little nod that he had been beaten all ends up.

you literally couldn't make this up

Punter better do something next week.
**** will probably get a 20 and a 3, then back it up in the 2nd test with 4 and the arsiest ton you've ever seen in the 2nd dig including being dropped on 0 to play out a boring draw and ink in his spot for the summer.

Tired of seeing reports like this:

17.2
Copeland to Petersen, FOUR, edged through the vacant 3rd slip area after an attempted cover drive, brings up his half-century as the ball runs to the third man fence.

Happened all the time in Sri Lanka.

Tbf though Siddle has had more of those so far.

It does sound like it's a difficult wicket to start on. Reports of balls keeping low and bouncing alarmingly etc.

Played Virus and good knock from Thami. Pressure on Bouch. Shame Duminy looks set to play at Cape Town. Should consider having Virus or Rudolph bat middle order. JP is a walking wicket against off-spin (and pace).

All red rover by tea tomorrow with a day to spare. Decent wicket, go from this to what should be a nice slow road in Cape Town.
