Dheeraj Dixit who was Mohamad Asif's friend and whom Veena Malik(Mohammad Asif's girlfriend who was allegedly a ex - girlfriend of Mazhar Majeed) accused of being involved in this, accusing Imran Farhat and his relatives of being the link between London based bookies and the Pakistani team on Star News right now.

Which body is investigating Kamran and Wahab?
Kamran was named by Mazhar Majeed and Wahab was caught with a Jacket. How is this an indication/proof of criminal behaviour and how will this investigative body prove the offence?

And then he apparently accused some Australian players, and some others in court too.

Perhaps they have some sort of slight evidence against these 2 on which basis they feel it is worth investigating further compared to others.

If Amir, Asif and Butt are sentenced to jail, they should serve it in Pakistan and not the UK.

Not really. Investigative units are always going to have fairly strict policies to follow when they're looking into something to make sure it's done the right way. Journalists have a lot less of these.

I doubt they will come to England and Co-operate after this though like Boje and Gibbs didn't come to India for a while, to avoid the Police investigations until things calmed down.

Not really. You can't nail them for fixing unless you have a smoking gun, you know actual evidence. In Hansie Cronje's the police stumbled upon a phone-call, here they set up a deal. The ICC can't phone tap non set up sting operations. And they've tried to do the second but the players association won't allow that. So the ICC are in a pretty ****ty situation. Pressing the governments to allow legalize gambling on cricket is probably their best move, but even then....

Already had this debate before in this thread IIRC and to think that will solve everything is too simplistic a way of thinking and naive.
In any case ICC does not wield political clout to do that.
Also agree about the limitations of ACSU, but was pointing out that the aggressive means used by the Media sometimes have their benefits too.
