Tamim gone already means game over. If he made it to lunch I reckon Windies would have set a more defensive field and Shakib+Naeem may have been able to hang around till close.

It's basically all on the next partnership to get within at least 40 overs of the end of the day now.
Was expecting a good game of cricket today :@
It might be all over soon now.

Are they still going for it? Should be gross overconfidence or gross underconfidence.
Going at 3.5 an over isn't exactly overconfidence. Neither of these guys are particularly defensive batsman either.

You'd probably get more of an idea on what they were doing if Naeem were at the crease. Now there is a player who would comfortably go along at a SR of 20.

Saw a couple of 6 runs overs and hence the comment.Yeah, agree with the Naeem comment.

Shakib is Bangladesh. Him, Tamim and Mushfiqur -> New Zealand imo.

Realise you are just kidding - but NZ cricket does need to improve they have 3 good players we have 6 counting Williamson. Takes 11 to make a team.

I know I am being harsh but Bangers would have been better off if Shakib was gun in 1 discipline and dud in other at the moment in Shakib they have 2 above average cricketers rather then just one total gun cricketer. Shakib's value to the side will go up drastically if they are able to build up a team of 6-7 decent cricketers.

West Indies building up a reasonable bowling attack, just quietly.

Is this Bishoo guy the real deal as a legspinner?

Shakib, Mushy, Marma and Tamim -So thats 4.

Hoping for Naeem, Sunny and Nasir to come good to make it 7. There is a big dearth of quality batsmen and fast bowlers in the team. All those making the team are spinning allrounders.

If Naeem can give up bowling and become a sedate opener for Bangladesh, it would be good.

Edit: Would Mortaza be joining the team for the Pakistan series? He is not a great bowler too, but atleast decent compared to other resources.

That's extremely harsh. Shakib is not that great in tests with the bat, he's very good with the ball though. He's still averaged 50+ in the series and around 21 with the ball - could be a legend if he can bat and ton up, but above average is again, really harsh.

There is quality backup as well in Rampaul.

Regards Bishoo, The Indian batsman should negate him easily. But if he can succeed here in India, would be great boost to his confidence.

Has age on his side and runs and wickets behind him. imo he is the only guy currently who can eclipse Kallis' allrounder records, atleast in ODIs. That would be epic.

Comprehensive win in the end, I'm beginning to think that Bangladesh should field just the 1 quick bowler at home and include Mahmudullah, Sunny and Siddique when fit.

1 Tamim 2 Siddique 3 Nafees 4 Naeem 5 Rahim 6 Shakib 7 Mahmudullah 8 Nasir Hossain 9 Shuvo 10 Sunny 11 Shahadat/Rubel/Shafiul.

I did a pretty stupid bet on this game, put $30 on Windies @ 2.20 and $30 on Bangers @ 3.80 I think - $6 FTW.
