Form a year after Warne and McGrath retired doesn't excuse being absolutely awful against them both over the course of a decade. Lara and Tendulkar both had success against McWarne and Ponting never played them (but had success against the great South African attacks against which Kallis never played).True but I think part of that was due to him being in bad form in 2008. But he still has time to correct those stats against Australia and England as he still looks at the height of his powers with the bat.
What a shot from Miller. Looks like he has the potential to be a player.
Alright, fair enough, you've convinced me.Form a year after Warne and McGrath retired doesn't excuse being absolutely awful against them both over the course of a decade. Lara and Tendulkar both had success against McWarne and Ponting never played them (but had success against the great South African attacks against which Kallis never played).
Like I said, Kallis is a notch below the top rung with the bat. That's nothing to be ashamed of, just as Mark Waugh should be proud of what he accomplished in tests, even if he wasn't as good as Steve Waugh.
he won't. leggie at the death is way too big a risk.Alright, fair enough, you've convinced me.
Smith bowling at the death! And he has to bowl for the rest of the innings, including the last over.
Sorry that was a complete brain fade. I thought he had to because they had only done 5 overs of the 5th bowler. I forgot that Watson had already bowled 4 overs.he won't. leggie at the death is way too big a risk.
Instead of Johnson's last?would have given smith one more
If Warner fires then yes. Ponting and Clarke looked in good touch on Wednesday.300 chaseable? No Watson, remember
Definitely, hats off. Got a soft spot for him and Ingram.great knock from miller.
