Where does Cricket rank in your top 5 sports?

I'll never understand people from outside Europe describing themselves as fans of European football clubs. I get as far as liking a sport that isn't really played in your area, I like a few american sports for example. But really connecting with one team? And for a sport as commercially draped as soccer? Baffles me.
Yes, agreed.

I also find it hard to see how anyone manages to become "fans" of particular Formula One teams. I suppose teams closely associated with a particular country (such as Ferrari) are exceptions to this, but otherwise it just baffles me.

Sport is much more fun to follow when you're supporting a team, no matter what the reasons.

Have to say that having the question 'what are your favourite sports?' is probably too broad. My top 5 sports to watch and my top five sports to play are probably quite different.

I'll always support McLaren because the founder was a kiwi.

I like your t20 joke but surprised it was second favourite
Sometimes it reminds me of another sport I like.

Seriously though, I considered putting it at #3 but then thought it might come across as if I just wanted to point out that I didn't like T20 as much as rugby league, when my actual point was that it isn't cricket.

Cricket is number 1...

The 1 thing which differentiates cricket from other sports is Test cricket. Tremendous amount of stamina, fitness levels, energy, determination and skill is required for test cricket which goes on for 5 consecutive days, and the best thing test cricket gives you is a fair result, there is no flook or luck coming in test cricket, the better team wins, I wouldn't have rated cricket higher than other sports if there were no test cricket.

Yeah, even when I try to watch as a neutral I usually end up taking one side over the other anyway. Usually the underdog.

I can appreciate the skill and fitness of the participants, but sport, being adversarial by nature, practically demands some kind of partisanship from the spectators.

3) Australian Rules
4) F1
5) Tennis

Gave up closely following sports 2-4-5 about a year ago. Only kept up with Aussie Rules as I lived 50m from my teams homeground.
