What's with this trend over the last couple of years at sporting events with that ****ing trumpet noise followed by a cheer?

Is it something on the big screen?

Yeah would be interested to know that as well. Went to an A league match recently and they had the same thing. Thought it was only an IPL thing at first, but evidently not.

I first heard that in the IPL when it started. It's as annoying as **** when they play it over the PA at the Hills Bowling Club of a Sunday arvo. Can't hear the winning meat tray numbers.

It's a kick to get the crowd into gear. They pinched it from other sports like baseball, and for the IPL concocted this trumpet that sounded sort of 'Indian'. I distinctly remember them using that sound in the t20is last week as well as the American trumpet, complete with the 'Charge!' at the end.

Who are the numbskulls in the crowd actually cheering at the end of it though? fmd.

It is estimated that bears kill over two million salmon a year. Attacks by salmon on bears are much more rare.

Should've seen the size of the salmon steaks they were serving at the restaurant tonight. If that bastard attacked you, you'd be in strife.
