11.4 Swann to Rahane, OUT, Rahane will want to forget this innings as soon as possible. Swann again strikes in his first over.

AM Rahane st †Kieswetter b Swann 15 (41b 0x4 0x6) SR: 36.58

:)

Swann . you beauty!!

It's a good job bringing Swann on early worked, considering that we've all been complaining about him coming on too late.

Please elaborate?
Toeing the BCCI line about DRS, best thing to do with the technology is to keep it away apparently. HotSpot failed once so obviously human umpires are far superior.

Hyderabad pitch has generally been batting friendly. But, in the recent times, (particularly, from Champions League), the pitch is aiding bowlers (particularly paceman) ...

I guess a score of 250-60 will be competitive for a decent bowling attack on this pitch. But not sure, how much would be competitive for Indian weakened bowling attack today
Hardly a great England attack though without Broad and Anderson. England will fancy getting at the Indian attack though during the series as they did a few weeks ago.

Yes.. that will put huge pressure on Indian team if England are successful doing in these early matches of the tour!

I guess current England bowling attack is nt too bad than that of India's...

The fact it is in India this time evens it up as Finn, Dirtbag and Fatit haven't played there. Only Bresnan, Swann and Bopara have. Broad will be a huge miss as he has the variety you need on these pitches, Dernbach has variety but is relatively unproven as yet. Big tour for him.

I'm certain Patel was out here last time and got smashed in one of the first ODIs.

edit: played all 5 ODIs and went at almost 8 an over.

Yeah, Tendulkar missed the ODI series in England due to injury, guess this makes it look more convincing still being out.

Anyway, England have just nudged their way into favourites. If we can keep India to under 250 I'd back us to chase that.
