*Official* England in India

Snicko virtually always gives an answer, it just takes too long obviously. Hot Spot is clear it just fails to pick thin edges up. It's good on bat/pad situations though, these were just few and far between in England v India because you couldn't review lbws (couldn't check for inside edges) and spinners were pretty much a non-factor.

Aravind got tonked again for Bangalore. I'm starting to think that he is in terrible form.

^^^^ Hope he finds his form in Challenger trophy and the rules of 2 new balls and powerplays will be effective in this challenger trophy

Found a clip of Anwar Ahmed bowling online. The guy is pretty well built and looks around 130kph.

*Cough* Home track bullies *Cough*.

Nah. Clearly showing the purpose of a warm up game. I'm sure England will win this and perform better in the second warm up and then be on top form by the ODIs.

England to make 230-250, Hyderabad 180-200 all out.

And Manee could you post a link to that Youtube vid?

I never really read too much into warm-ups but that's somewhat dispiriting.

I know I'm a fan of Bairstow but I hope Keiswetter's just been rested for this one. Nice to see Bopara and Woakes contribrute.

Kieswetter's still taking part in the Champs Lge T20, so couldn't play today anyway. When you look at the side today, it is lacking a Kieswetter at the top of the order to take advantage of the early stages of the innings.

Ah, whoops.

Anyway, this has come in from Lawrence Booth:

Akshat Reddy hooks the first ball of Hyderabad's reply, from Steven Finn, for six.
Well that's super duper
